Windstone Editions are beautifully sculpted figurines by Melody Pena. From their website, you can buy already painted pieces, you can buy PYO (paint your own) blank pieces, and you can join in their community for raffles, updates and more. You can find them by clicking the link: https://windstoneeditions.com/the-windstone-store/

I buy the PYO pieces, paint them and then sell them all painted up in unique styles.

I have recently finished and sold two Windstone pieces; a Kitty Griffin (painted to a snowy owl) and a dragon. They were my first two pieces, and while I am still fairly new to the world of painting Windstones, I enjoy doing it and would love the opportunity to make one just for you.

While I normally paint WE figurines as sales pieces, I am perfectly happy accepting commissions. Because doing a Windstone commission is more complex than a basic canvas painting, the process is a little more complex as well (but well worth it!).

           WINDSTONE COMMISSIONING PROCESS AND POLICIES

 1. Using the "Contact Form" in the "Contact" tab above OR emailing me directly, tell me what PYO Windstone piece you want me to paint for you (the list of available PYO pieces can be found here: https://windstoneeditions.com/product-category/paint-your-owns/ ). Also make sure to give me an idea of how you want your piece painted (reference photos or visual ideas are very helpful if you are wanting something specific. If no pictures are included, I will design it with your guidelines in mind). Be sure to check out the available eye and Swarovski jewel colors for your mold of choice so I know which ones to order! If you want to order one yourself or if you already have on you want painted, just let me know and you can ship it directly to me (if you do this, only a $50 non-refundable deposit is required).
 2. I require a minimum $60 non-refundable deposit for all Windstone commissions to cover the costs of the figurine, supplies and shipping from Windstone to me (any commissions on the Oriental Dragon mold require a $75 non-refundable deposit) (payments in full are accepted). I take payments through Paypal (same payment methods that eBay, Etsy, Amazon, and hundreds of other online & brick-and-mortar stores use); this ensures that both the buyer (you) and the seller (me) are completely protected and insured. To make it easier for my buyers, I do accept time payments (please contact me to discuss time payment plans).
 3. Prices are based on the mold you're wanting painted (its size and detail) and the complexity of the paint job you want. For example, a smaller mold- such as the Kitty Griffin- in a solid/minimal marking design is going to be much cheaper than the large Oriental Dragon with a very intricate pattern. Price estimates will not include shipping. For a shipping estimate, please contact me.
If you have any questions regarding a Windstone commission or sales piece from me, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me :)
Make sure to check out my general Windstone commission policies below.

Pictured above is my first completed Windstone dragon, "Volcanic Ash." He was finished with airbrush and acrylics, as well as several layers of matte finish to help protect him from wear and tear. Volcanic Ash was also sprayed one final time in a semi-gloss finish to give him an extra bit of gleam. All of his black scales are covered in a gold shimmer. His eyes are a deep red to match his accent colors, and he is completed with a red Siam Swarovski crystal in the middle of his forehead.

Pictured below is my first ever painted Windstone, a Kitty Griffin named Jetson who's design was inspired by a snowy owl and a white lion. He has periwinkle eyes and a Swarovski crystal shard in his necklace chain. These pieces are both sold.
WINDSTONE EDITIONS COMMISSION POLICIES

-All non-refundable deposits are just that: non-refundable.
-If you pay in-full, the price of the figurine is non-refundable. The rest of the agreed-upon price (or however much has been paid) will be returned to buyer.
-If I place the order for the figurine and the buyer backs out/ghosts, I keep deposit (which means I also keep the piece).
-If buyer orders or supplies their own Windstone piece (must include the eyes and jewels), I keep the deposit but will return the piece back to the owner (if I have already started painting the piece, it will be stripped of all painting that has been done to it). Owner pays return shipping (same as if transaction is completed).
-If I have completed painting the piece and buyer backs out, I keep the deposit and I reserve the right to sell the completed piece as a "sales piece." Essentially, the buyer/commissioner forfeits the right to the design and completed piece. The rest of the agreed upon price that has been paid will be refunded.
-I reserve the right to deny a commission piece if I feel that I am too inexperienced to do it nicely and professionally; I value my clients' happiness and I want to do all my pieces to the best of my ability. If I feel that my abilities will not do the desired design justice, I do not want to disappoint the client or waste anyone's time or money.
-Time payments: depending on total price, the buyer will have up to 4 months to pay off the commissioned piece, from time of received deposit. Buyer does not have to have piece paid off upon completion, but piece will not be shipped until total agreed-upon price has been paid.
-If buyer is not happy with completed product (BEFORE being shipped), buyer can choose to either forfeit the completed piece and request a full refund (minus the deposit amount) or go through with transaction as originally agreed and resell the completed piece to make the money back.
-Once the completed piece has been paid for and shipped out, I will not accept returns or issue refunds of any kind for any reason
